Chinese phone maker, ZTE, continues to work on enhancing their different product lines and with this in mind, they started the deployment of the latest Android OS –Nougat– into their Axon 7 devices. This update will come with several innovations, including “Daydream” compatibility.
This sensibly priced, high-end model has been on the market since May 2016, and it’s currently on the selected devices that are running on Nougat. These are Pixel, Pixel XL, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, and Moto Z Force Droid. Huawei’s Mate 9 Pro and Asus’s Zenfone AR.
According to the company, running Google’s Daydream on the Axon 7 is not only effortless but also, outstandingly realistic, providing an immersive and powerful VR experience.
But this is not the only upgrade that the phone will receive at the moment.
Besides the advantages of running the OS formerly known as “Android N,” the company is working on incorporating caller id and spam detection/blocking features provided by another company called “Hiya.”
The features and price of the Axon 7 continue to place it as one of the best high-end options in the market & also positioning ZTE, a company that pushes the smartphones market with well-made devices.
